About Your Appointment: What You Need To Know
Appointment Procedures:
- After your appointment has been booked, you will receive a text message or email with the appointment details.
- You will also receive an email or text reminder the day before your appointment.
- We use treats to help your pet feel comfortable in our salon. If your pet has diet restrictions, please bring his or her favorite treats.
- Our appointments are designed to give your pet a comfortable and low stress grooming experience. In order to provide this we ask our client to allow us to have the time needed so as to not rush your pet into a stressful situation. You will need to leave your pet with us for several hours, depending on size, type and desired style. In the event of a time restriction, please let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.
- In order for our salon to maintain its calm, low stress environment, we require our client's cooperation in sticking as close to appointment times as possible. If you cannot drop-off at your appointment time, please let us know ahead of time so we can adjust accordingly.
- We also ask that pets are picked up promptly when finished. We will give an approximate finish time upon check-in, and you will receive a warning 1/2 hour from when you pet is finished. If you will not be able to pick up immediately after finish, please let us know ahead of time so we can adjust accordingly.
- As per city bylaw, we require all pets to be leashed, kenneled or carried between your car and our salon. In order to ensure our continued operation and the safety off all involved, we must employ a no tolerance policy for off leash/not contained pets.
- There is no available potty area directly at our salon, however there is green space and a lovely walking trail across the street. We appreciate pets being kept off our lawn.
- For your first appointment, please consider downloading and filling out the Registration Form and Insurance Waiver below before your appointment for speedy check-in. Finished forms can brought to your appointment or emailed back to us at Creative_Paws_GP@outlook.com.
- Consider prebooking your future appointments at the end of each grooming session. Prebooked grooming appointments within 8 weeks of the previous groom will receive %10 off provided they are booked at least one appointment ahead of time.
- Discounts are also offered for senior citizens, veterans, active military and RCMP. If you qualify for our discounts, we need to see ID on first appointment and after that it will be automatically added to your total.
- Discounts are also offered for dogs currently in the care of rescue (or foster). We require confirmation from the non-profit rescue to add the discount.
